”Sweep your chimney every year and do not block the conduit for the exhaust of burnt gas!”

The safe utilisation of natural gas depends also on the responsibility of the users in observing several elementary rules such as sweeping of the chimney every year, periodical verification of the conduit for the exhaust of the burnt gas and the avoidance of improvisations to the in-house installation.

The most frequent cause for carbon monoxide intoxications is the blocking of the chimney and of the conduit for the exhaust of burnt gas. Avoid this danger ensuring periodical verifications by authorised personnel!

Between 15th of September – 4th of November 2011, the contest ”Sweep your chimney every year and do not block the conduit for the exhaust of burnt gas!” challenged the customers of E.ON Energie România to participate in a campaign with attractive prizes: 50 gas vouchers of RON 500 each.

We received thousands of coupons on the contest’s address (O.P. 1, C.P. 30, Târgu Mureş) and we are glad to see such an interest, that makes us confident in a future with less unwanted accidents related to the improper use of the natural gas.
